Says Sea Command Ensures Allied Victory
(Received 2 p.m.) RUGBY. April 25 Speaking at a luncheon of the Royal Society of St. George, Mr A. DuffCooper, formerly First Uord of the Admiralty, accused the whole of the German people of the crimes-which had made a horror of Europe. It was dangerous thinking, he said, to believe they could drive a wedge between the German people and the German Government. Victory for the Allies was certain because Britain had started the war with command of the sea, and no nation which commanded the sea had ever been defeated.
