N.A.M.R. Tabloid Sports

At least 1000 people visited Kensington Park Camp yesterday afternoon to see the tabloid sports meeting presented by the North Auckland Motorised Regiment. The soldiers participating showed no traces of the strenuous exercises in which they had been engaged under active service conditions, and turned on some thrilling events. Particularly good was the alarm race and the musical chairs on motor cycles, where some extraordinary evolutions were performed. Military preparedness was emphasised throughout the programme.
