Fields For Second Day Of Auckland Trots

[Sjjeciftl to “ Northern Advocate ”] AUCKLAND, Monday. The Auckland Trotting Club will be holding the second day ot its summer meeting tomorrow. The main events are the Great Northern Trotting Stakes and the Alexandra Park Handicap of two miles. The public will find it hard to sort out a likely youngster in the classic as all the entrants are so far untried. The big two mile is also difficult. It is practically the same field as the Otahuhu Handicap run on Saturday over a mile and a half, but the winner, Three Bells, apparently cannot see out a two mile journey. Parauri was a big disappointment on Saturday, and as he drifted at the end of a mile his chances here seem negligible. He is a proved stayer though, and the extra half mile might suit him better. Our McKinney’s second from 24yds behind on Saturday makes him look the logical favourite, but Kewpie’s King and Red Flush must also command respect.
