Messrs Alfred Buckland and Sons and the New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company report holding a sale at Maungakaramea yesterday when less than the average yarding came forward. Dairy cows made up to £7 5/; yearling heifers, to £2 18/; Jersey heifer calves, to £2 17/; fat bullocks, light, £8 6/; fat cows, £6 to £7 6/; vealers, £3 10/ to £4; 18-month steers, £4 10/; boner cows, to £4; lighter. £1 2/6 to £1 12/6; boner bulls, to £7 5/; lighter, £2 16/ to £5.
