Polish Atrocities: German Version
(Received 1 p.m.) BERLIN. February 11. A new edition of the Foreign Office publication. “Folish atrocities against Gormans in Poland.” alleges that Poles murdered 58,C00 of the German minority during September. The Germans first officially claimed that 5487 were murdered, but this was amended later to 12,000. The new edition, however, alleges that even the new figure, 58,000 is not final, because “hundreds of mass graves were discovered which cannot be opened until the spring on account of the weather.”
