MELBOURNE, February 11. A course record of L 23 for seven furlongs was established by High Caste when he won the C. F. Orr Stakes at the Williamstown Racing Club’s summer meeting yesterday. Results: — C. F. Orr Stakes, of 1000 sovs; maximum weight, 9.5; seven furlongs.— High Caste (N.Z.-bred), 8.2, 1; Manri'co, 8.13, 2; Ajax, 9.5, 3. Eight other starters. Half a length; half a neck. Time, 1.23—a course record. Wyndham Handicap, of 500 sovs; one and a quarter miles. —Bankshaw (N.Z.-bred), 7.10. 1; Royal Jubilee, 8.9, 2; Gladstone, 7.4, 3. Eleven started. A head; half a neck.
