Third Canadian Contingent Arrives
(Received 11 a.m.) LONDON, February 8. The thh'd contingent of Canadians arrived at a West Coast port and were greeted by cheering crowds. The voyage was without incident. Members of the contingent, listening to the wireless during the voyage across the Atlantic when under naval escort, were amused to hear a Zeesen broadcast claim that one of the troopships in the convoy was sunk. The contingent included a sniper unit of full-blooded Indians, also a number of trained men under the Empire Air Scheme.
