Says Poland Will Survive Her Third Martyrdom
LONDON, January 29,
The President of Poland (M. Raczkiewiezi, interviewed at Angers, France, said it was only a matter of time before Germany was defeated and Poland was restored to share with the Allies the ultimate triumph of right over might. Poland would survive her third
martyrdom and emerge greater and stronger. Once Germany was defeated the Russians would not be able to stay in Poland.
They would find they had too many troubles in their own country to hold foreign soil by force of arms. Some units of the Polish Army would be ready for service in a few months, and several divisions would be at Marshal Gamelin’s disposal at the end of the year.
