Hitler Renames Deutschland
(Received 1.30 p.m.) LONDON, January 25
Since the name Deutschland is re* quired for a larger ship, Hitler has ordered that the pocket battleship Deuschland be renamed Leutzow.
Leutzow is at present the name of a heavy cruiser, which also will be renamed.
The High Command confirms reports that the Deutschland, “which has been engaged in the trade war in Alantic waters shice the outbreak,” has returned to a home port. It was recently reported from Stockholm that Admiral Raeder’s visit to Kiel and Wilhelmshaven was connected with the launching" of a batleship, for which the name Deutschland has presumably been reserved.
