Nazis Circulating Counterfeit U.S. Notes
WASHINGTON, January 24,
The American Secret Service is investigating reports that the Nazi Government has circulated enormous quantities of counterfeit American notes in Italy, Egypt and the Balkans. A similar desperate device to obtain foreign exchange was once used by the Soviet Government. The notes are more convincing than privately printed counterfeits.
