The inauguration in the New Year of the Transtasman air mail- service may result from discussions yesterday between the Federal Government and the Deputy-Prime Minister of New Zealand (Mr, Fraser). < ■ ... The final attitude ,pf the Australian Government to the proposal will be communicated to Mr. Fraser before he leaves Sydney for New Zealand. “It is believed that New Zealand has special interest in the inauguration of the service as soon as • possible, ■ but that the Australian and British Governments are hesitant about commencing sfich a service in time of war. ■-/ . v
