Motor Progress Shown At Exhibition
One of the highlights of the Transportation Court at the Centennial Exhibition is' the large exhibit by Dominion Motors Ltd.
The first novelty is that the display is made in a sunken court. Here, in a colour scheme of cream and scarlet, you see a display that runs the whole .gamut of modern transportation. Prominently featured are a select series of British motor cars, young and virile in styling, and expressing all that is best in the tradition of Britisl engineering. Lower down are the commercial vehicles and, finally, a large display of tractors which are visual proof of the modernity, convenience, and work capacity that modern engineering has brought to farm tractor design. 1 The simple background is*relieved by murals depicting the lar&e English and American factories which are represented by Dominion Motors in New Zealand. The central jpiece is a raised mural in full colour which proves of great interest to all the visitors. It takes the form of a fun map and depicts the sales and service network of Dominion Motors in New Zealand. Undoubtedly the motor show as one which all who, visit the Exhibition should see. Only in viewing a line-up such as this will you be able to gain a true conception of. the advances in styling and engineering that mark another great year of automotive progress.
