A Motorist Killed
IPer Press Association. Copyright.'] DUNEDIN, This Day. A fatal accident occurred on the Leith Valley Road yesterday afternoon, when a car left the road and fell over a bank on to its side.
Mi’s Elizabeth Callender, a widow, aged 50. of Waitati, was found 4 dead after the accident..
The driver of the car, Mr John A. Callender, of Waitati, and another passenger, Mr Edwin Charles Jopspn, a farmer, of Leith Valley, escaped with only slight injuries. The accident happened on a narrow piece of road when the car was pas% ing a motor truck.
