Respirator Not Coming To New Zealand

SYDNEY, December 19.
Stable connections announce that Respirator, who was to have competed in the Centennial Cup at Trentham in January will not make the trip owing to developing soreness. Instead, Respirator will be prepared for autumn racing in Australia. High Caste is unlikely to run in the Villiers Stakes at Randwick.
The New Zealand hoisse, Round-Up, who is top-weight with 9.3 in the Flying Handicap, will have his first race since arrving in Sydney at Victoria Park tomorrow.
The death was announced today of the prominent racehorse owner, Mr William H. Mac Kay, breeder, of Beau ford.
