Mr H. Duncan, sole selector to the Auckland Cricket Association, has chosen the following team to represent Auckland in the Plunket Shield match against Wellington, which will commence at Wellington on December 23: W. M. Wallace (Parnell) captain, P. E. Whitelaw (Parnell), H. T. Pearson (Middlemore), G. L. Weir (Eden), V. S Sale (North Shore), V. J. Scott (Y.M.C.A.), A. M. Matheson (University), J. A. R. Blandford (Middlemore), C. E. Burke (Grafton), J. Cowie (Grafton), D. C. Cleverley (Middlemore), C. P Howden (Middlemore) twelfth man), W. N. Carson and H. G. Vivian were not available.
