Whangarei's Last Over Win At Dargaville

Taking a brilliant one-handed catch high over his he.acl when the last over was half through R. Jenmngs terminated Northern Wairoa's innings at Dargaville, leaving Whangarei victorious by 22 runs. Good cricket was seen throughout the match, no rain having fallen at Dargaville yesterday. Whangarei started badly, and Joel Sandberg, the North Auckland 'express at the end of his sixth over had four wickets at ,a cost of six runs.

Four were down for 28, but Howell again produced some neat batting while Mason, opening with a four and six, was in dashing mood. This pair carried the score to 85 and Howell" did not fall until 124 were on the board.
