French Navy Tribute To Rawalpindi Crew
LONDON, November 30,
The Admiralty, says a British Official Wireless message, has received the following telegram from the French Navy: The French Navy has heard of the heroic fight of the Rawalpindi with deep feelings. “The Navy will reverently guard the memory of the glorious feat of arms, which was in accord with the very highest traditions of the British Navy.”
A reply lias been despatched saying that these inspiring words will be conveyed to the comrades of those who were lost.
