Finland Absolutely United, Minister Says
LONDON, November 30. The Finnish Minister in London (M. George Gripenberg) said: • “The whole of Finland is absolutely united. “We have an army of a wartime strength of 500,000, a small air force, and a small navy of two coastal defence ships and a few torpedo boats and submarines. “Our defence lines have been constructed some distance from the frontier, and if there is further fighting it will be in the forests.
M. Gripenberg called at the British Foreign Office today.
