Rain Helps Waikato To Keep Hawke Cup
[Special to “Northern Advocate ”] 'HAMILTON, This Day.
Owing to the continuance of heavy rain the Taranaki v. Waikato match for the Hawke Cup was abandoned this morning, and the visitors left for home.
On Thursday, Taranaki was dismissed for 83, and Waikato made 64 for throe wickets. Waikato are the holders of the cup.
