Concessions For P.B. Employees Who Enlist
In regard to employees who enlist, the North Auckland Power Board yesterday decided: (1) On returning from service they will be reinstated in a similar position to that which they left. (2) Annual leave will accrue to each employee and be taken on discharge from the forces at civilian rates of pay. In the event of death, the leave will be calculated, and a payment will be made to dependants. (3) The board will pay the employees’ contribution to the superannuation scheme during their absence.
