Improver’s Handicap, of 200sovs.; limit, 2.56; 11 miles.—(2-2) Becky Direct, It., 1; (coupled with Coquette); (3-3) Loyal Roy, 12yds, 2; (14-14) Brigadier, It., 3. All started. Half a length; nock. Time, 2.38 4-5. Lawn Derby failed to break Van Derby’s mile grass record of 2.0 2-5. Lawn Derby's time was 2,3 3-5.
