Sowings of practically all vegetables may still be made. Make successive sowings of green peas, dwarf beans, etc. Plant out kumera and tomato plants. Spray potatoes with Bordeaux Mixture. Spray onions for mildew; use lime-sulphur, 1 in 70. Give marrows, pumpkins, etc., thorough waterings during dry spells. Pinch out the tips of the vines when they have run 3 or 4ft.
