Athlete, Footballer To Train As N.C.O's
[Special to “Northern Advocate ”] AUCKLAND, This Day.
Among the prospective non-commis-sioned officers for the second echelon of the Special Military Force, who will enter camp on December 9 for a course of training, is H. K. Brainsby, formerly of Whangarei, and a former New Zealand athletic champion and Empire Games representative. C. S. Pepper, the well-known Rugb?/ footballer and a member of the 1935 All Black team that went to England, will also enter camp shortly.
