Light rain spoilt the cricket match at Victoria Valley when the home team gained a four-pointer from Herekino. Veteran “Sonny” Wrathall batted very nicely indeed for his 38, while Ashley Thompson, with an undefeated 39. scored half the visitors’ total off his own bat.
Considering the slippery conditions, the Herekino attack was remarkably accurate.
