A keen demand for all types of stock was experienced at the Frahkton sale yesterday.

Prime heavy wethers, 32/ to 34/; medium wethers, 26/ to 30/; light and unfinished, 21/6 to 24/; shorn, heavy, to 25/6; medium quality. 21/ to 23/6; heavy ewes, 26/6; light and unfinished, 18/ to 22/.
Fat cattle: Light and unfinished bullocks, £8 17/6 to £10; fat cows, exdairy, £7 5/ to £8 15/; medium quality Hereford cows, £9 5/ to £11; poor-conditioned Polled Angus breeding cows, £2 to £2 8/; small yearling steers, 35/ to £25/; small Jersey yearling heifers, £2 to £2 17/6; medium quality, £3 5/ to £4; heavy boner cows, £3 10/ to £6; lighter sorts, £2 to £3. v <’
Light baconers, £3 5/; medium porkers, £2 5/ to £2 12/6; good stores, 30/ to £2 2/; poorer sorts, £1 to £1 8/.
