No Registration Of Men Under 20
Instructions received at the Army Departmcn., Whangarei, state that no registration of men under 20. years of age can be made for active service;
Numerous offers of service are still being received from men in addition to serving Territorials, the majority being from unmarried men between the ages of- 20 and 30. Applications for registration under the National Military Reserve are still pouring in, the defence office staff being hard pressed to cope with the number.
The registrations made in North Auckland now total 130 for Class I„ 580 for Class 11. and 390 for Glass 111.
