Manse Street Tennis Club Opening Day
The Manse Tennis Club opened for the season last Saturday. Visitors were present from many of the local clubs, including Hora Hora, Mander Park, Bargain Stores and Mairtown. Miss W. Bentley won the ladies’ trophy, and Mr Timewell the gentlemen’s. The president (the Rev. W. Elliott) welcomed visitors and new members. Mrs Elliott served the first ball and the courts were declared open for the season.
