Redolent Destroyed. Redolent broke his back when he fell at the sod wall, five furlongs from home, in the Lawford Hack and Hunters’ Steeplechase at Riccarton on Saturday, and had to be destroyed. Golden Miller Retired. Golden Miller, winner of the Grand National Steeplechase in 1934 in the colours of Miss Dorothy Paget, has been retired from the Turf, and will spend the rest of his days on an Essex farm. No steeplechaser so endeared himself to the English public as Golden Miller, who won about thirty laces for his lady owner. These included the Cheltenham Gold Cup five years in succession.
