ANOTHER BUFFETING TO POET BOWEN.
To-day the Port Bowen is receiving another severe buffeting, and, being broadside on to the breakers, is continually being swept by heavy rollers. Although it is reported that the stranded steamer has not moved nearer towards the shore, at dead low spring tide last night there was only 12 feet of water between the vessel and the land. With the rising spring tides the vessel moves, but she is steady at low water.
