Personal Pars
The Rt. Hon. J. G. Coates arrived in Auckland from Wellington by train yesterday morning, and left in the afternoon for his home at Matakohe.
Mr F. Tattersfield, of the staff of the Whangarei branch of the National Bank of New Zealand, who has been transferred to Wellington, left today to commence his new duties.
The supervisor of the Dargaville Post Office, Mr T, H. Williams, who has been transferred to St. Helier's, Auckland, where he will take up the position of postmaster, received a presentation from the members of the staff at Dargaville. The postmaster, Mr W. H. L. Roberts, made the presentation.
Mr Raymond Fitzmorris, who received a fractured skull and other injuries when trapped in a fall of rock while working in the Brynderwyn Quarry on July 17, was conveyed from the Northern; Wairoa Hospital,, Te Kopuru, to the Whangarei District Hospital last night. He is reported to be making a good recovery.
