Budget On Tuesday Night

The Budget will be presented in iho House of Representatives on Tuesday night. An announcement of the Prime
Minister’s intention to bring the Fin-
ancial Statement down, was made in the House today by Mr Fraser, acting as leader of the Government, in the
absence of Mr Savage
Mr Fraser rriade no amplification of is announcement, but Ibis is taken
as an indication that Mr Savage's indisposition, which lias kept him out of the House for live greater part of this week, is not serious, and that Mr Savage will read the Budget in his capacity of Acting-Minister of Finance.
