The touring New Zealand bowlers won matches against Pialba teams yesterday by 73 points to 47. The New Zealanders scored as follows: Weatherburn. 34—12: Adess, 15—20; Fletcher, 24—15.
Parakao In spite of inclement weather, the fortnightly social held last Tuesday evening in the Parakao Hall, drew a fair attendance. Mrs Watson Wilson was in charge. Prize-winners in the 500 card tourney were Messrs Dando and Swift. Primary School Sports. The three districts comprising the Northern Midland District Primary Schools Sports Association will as'•amble all promising players at Parakao on Saturday, August 5, when trial matches will be held for the dual purpose of facilitating the selection of the Midlands Primary School representatives and of coaching in the 15aside game.
