F. Lester Scores Well At Club Shoot
MINIATURE RIFLES
A further round of the Bargain Stores Cup series 'and the self-handi-cap trophy as well as a shoot, for a trophy donated to the club was shot on Wednesday night at the meeting of the Whangarei Miniature Rifle Club.
F. Lester secured the trophy, the Tisdall handicap button ! and the B grade rooster. The best scores were (self-handi-cap scores in brackets): —F. Lester, 96—4—100; W. McConnell, 96—4—100; T. McKeown. 96—4—100; Miss Cullen, 93—7—100; R. H. Allan, 97—2—99; L. Holmes, 96—3—99; M. Stewart, 96 —2 —9B; R. Massey, 97—4—101 (98); Mrs Higgins, 93—5—98; R. Quigg, 88—9— 97; A. Higgins, 94—2—96; R. RolfeSmith, 95—8—103 (94).
