WARD, Branch Secy. ’YyHANGAREI BOROUGH COUNCIL IMPORTANT NOTICE TO RATEPAYERS PUBLIC MEETING The Whangarei Borough Council, having obtained the necessary sanction of the Local Government Loans Board to its application to the borrowing of the sum of £33,360 by a loan to be known as “Stormwater Loan 1939, £33,360” (for the purpose of installing stormwater drainage, carrying out modifications to the sanitary sewer system and flood protection works, the construction of new bridges and approaches thereto, the acquisition of the necessary land and the meeting of the costs of surveys and fencing), announces that a meeting of ratepayers will be held in the TOWN HALL, WHANGAREI, on WEDNESDAY, the 19th JULY, at 8 p.m., for the purpose of enabling ratepayers to examine the Council’s proposals.
