C. Hawken Takes Maungatapere Silver Button
The silver button played for over the week-end by members of the Maungatapere Golf Club was won by C. Hawken, 82-12-70. Other good cards were: T. Hawken, 100-29-71; A. Heape, 98-23-75. The best cards in the qualifying rounds for the President’s trophy were: M. Newton, 150; K. Ridgley, 150; C. Hawken, 151; A. Heape, 151.
