Brisk Demand At London Wool Sales
LONDON, July 15
All types of wool continue to meet with a brisk demand at the current London series.
At the sale on Friday, 8391 bales were offered, including 2937 bales of New Zealand and 7340 bales were sold. <A good selection met a keen demand, and, apart from greasy crossbreds, which were occasionally in buyers’ favour, rates were well maintained.
New Zealand scoured merino combings branded “Braemar,” brought from 22d to 23d per lb.
