Forgery Charge Against Maori
Charged with forging a certain document, endorsing on a bank cheque for £1 drawn on the Union Bank of Australasia, Dargaville, in favour of J. Edwards, with intent that it should be acted upon as genuine. William Wati Tito, a Maori, was remanded by Mr L. 7. Brake, J.P., in the Whanga--ei. Court this moi-ning to appear at dargaville on Thursday.
