Maori v. Pakeha Rugby Teams Announced
The following players will comprise the Maori senior "A” representatives. as selected by Mr L. Davis: —
Backs.—D. Taylor (City), W. Heta (Whangaruru). Rang! -Shortland (Pipiwai), T. Brown (Kamo), W. Alison (Old Boys), T. Wharerau (Kamo), W. Shortland (Pipiwai).
Forwards. —M. Rika (Kamo), G. Amos (Hikurangi), G. Niha (Pipiwai), M. Te Paa (Kamo), P. Mahunga (Kamo), C. Stirling (Whangaruru), J. Ape (Pipiwai), M. Rudolph (Whangaruru).
Emergencies.—Backs: G. Taniora (Whangaruru), C. Moore (Whananaki); forwards: Martin (Whangaruru), H. Hauraki (Towai). ,
P, Rika (Maungakaramea) and Sonnie Alison (Maungakaramea) were not available.
The Pakeha team, selected by Mr N. Dickey, will be:— Full-back: J. Pomfrett (Hikurangi); three-quarters: Hewitt (Hikurangi), Campbell (Old Boys), T. Abbott (City); five-eighths: J. Roos (City), H. Abbott (City); half-back: Green (City); forwards: Smallwood. Ray, Bradley and Whiteman (Old Boys), Fletcher (Kamo), Provan, Cunliffe and Taylor (City).

Thames to Meet ’Karamea
Leading team in the Thames Rugby competition. Physical Training will play a return match with Maungakaramea, at Whangarei, on Saturday. When ’Karamea travelled to Thames, Physical Training won a most exciting high-scoring game by a single point. The goldfields team to play at Whangarei on Saturday will be: R. Lukoy, B. Willoughby, E. Dovell, N. McMillan, J. Grey, M. Dovell, J. Poland, M. Hartnett, E. McLaughlin, W. Heappy, K. Fitzpatrick, J. Gordon, C. Lucas. J. Dccherty, R. Dovell. Reserves: J. Maxwell and K. Hamilton.
