Central Backs Outplay Kamo
Central's fast backs won the day against Kamo. The fatter put up a game fight, but. with conditions favouring back play, Central had no difficulty in winning by 20 points to eight. Tries were secured for Central by Baylis, McDonald, McKay and Stainton, while McKay kicked two penalties and converted one. Snell scored twice for Kamo, Dickey converting one of these. Kamo was unfortunate to lose Jack Amos, who was carried, from the field with a broken right leg. Amos was one of Kamo's best players, and the team will miss him for the next few weeks.
