OBITUARY
Mrs Emma Wallace V' Following an attack of influenza Mrs Emma Wallace contracted pneumonia. She was taken from her Kamo .home yesterday to the Whangarei District Hospital, where her death occurred this morning. In her 60th year, Mrs Wallace was the daughter of ,an Auckland pioneering family, her father having been born there. Forty years ago she married Mr John Alfred Wallace, a glazier. Coming North 19 years ago, they took over a form at Kamo, Mr Wallace later entering the employ of the Kamo Potteries. Mrs Wallace made the welfare of her family her first consideration always, and was an estimable mother and helpmate. Besides the husband, there are left three sons—Messrs Arthur , (Maunu Road), William and George (Kamo) —and five daughters—Mesdames A. Cavaye (Mangapai), I. Beehre (Wilson’s Avenue), F. King (Elizabeth Street), W. Churstain (Russell Road), and F. Farrell (Te Awamutu). The funeral will leave the residence, Kamo, at 2.30 p.m. on Monday for Ketenikau Cemetery.
