Thrills At Headquarters!
Dear Northlanders. ' Aren’t you positively thrilled to bits? 1 can’t help breaking- into slang—you see the first contribution towards the pounds arid pounds we need has arrived, and one school has demanded a picture show with hopes of “a merry evening and raising a ‘good bit’ towards our Centennial holiday fund.” j Is it any w r onder I am thrilled to bits? Even the Small Person shouts and kicks with excitement these days, though he can’t possibly know i what it’s all about. Bat there’s excitement in the air and I’m simply • itching to be up and doing. And I’m simply itching, too, to know what YOU think of the big scheme and what you are going to do about it. Really and truly I’m the most impatient person —even if I can keep a secret for goodness knows how long—so spare me a little and write soon. Hard work and happy times to all of you.. Kupe
