(2) NOMINATIONS close March 18, 1930, with the Secretary, for ALL Chopping and Sawing, and for Events 1,4, 6,7, 9 and 11. Nomination Fees must accompany all nominations, and competitors must give last two years’ or last eight performances (not required for maiden events). (3) Five starters or no second prize; seven, or no third prize; four, or no event. (4) Entry forms on application to the Secretary. (5) Events not necessarily in order of programme, and winners subject to rehandicap. (6) Competitors participate at their own risk, the Committee having no responsibility whatever. Nominations are accepted only on this express condition. I '*si (7) Any appeal must be lodged with the Secretai'y within 15 minutes of the finish of the event, together with 10/deposit, which may be forfeited if appeal is frivolous. (8) Prizes may be paid out pro rata in event of inclement weather affecting the revenue of the Club. (9) Spectators inside Ring absolutely at their own risk. (10) Boundaries for Powell Cup Handicap; Gammon’s Road, Awarua; County boundary, Waimatenui Road; Leach’s Bridge, Tangowahine Valley Road; Pekapekarau Block, Wairua Bridge; County boundary where not otherwise specified. (11) The above Cups to remain the property of the Club. Winners’ names will be engraved on them, and the winners will receive a miniature which becomes their own property. (12) The above Cup to remain the property of the Club until won by the same competitor three times in succession or five times at intervals. REFRESHMENT BOOTH ON GROUND. Hot Wafer Obtainable.
