Torpedo bombing demands considerable skill from both pilot and observer, and training is carried out with dummy torpedoes over Stokes' Bay, Left, a torpedo is seen from the cockpit of a bomber, waiting to be loaded into the rack. Above, one of the huge missiles wheeled up into position, ready to be fastened to the plane.
