Trounson Park Road
[Special to “Northern Advocate ”] DARGAVILLE, This Day. The Hobson County Council at its monthly meeting agreed upon a contribution of £100: toward the cost of the work on the Whatoro-Opouteke road through the Trounson Kauri Park. The Minister of Public Works, the Hon. R. Semple, wrote and expressed regret that as appropriations for. the present financial year did not provide for any expenditure on this work he must necessarily defer the request for review until the next estimates were prepared.
