Constable J. J. Harvey, senior constable in New Zealand, who has served more than 40 years in the force, will retire on superannuation- on Saturday. Altogether he has been 28 ye>ars in Wellington. He received a Jubilee, Medal for his long service. The death occurred in Auckland yesterday of Sir George Henry Wilson, of 3 Upland Road, Remuera, wellknown export merchant land also well known for his active interest in patriotic and social movements in the community. Sir George, who was in his 70th year, had not been enjoying good health for some time past.
