ijgENTENCE of four months’ imprisonment was imposed on each of four Maoris who appeared before Justices of the Peace at Hicks Bay on charges of assaulting two women. Accused were Paparangihua Houkaumau, aged 24, Hera Houkaumau, aged 22, Rewiri McClatchie, aged 21, and Heta Edwards, aged 20.
