FAMOUS BUILDING DAMAGED.—Fire broke out recently at the Hotel des Invalides, one of the landmarks of Paris, and a historic national edifice containing the tomb of Napoleon. Eventually the fire was extinguished and the famous building saved, but not before a lot of damage had been done.
