Maungatapere Sports Club Flourishing

At the annual meeting of the Maungatapere Sports Club, Mr J. G. Draper, presided over a large and enthusiastic attendance of members.

880 yards and one mile. Those events, in addition to the usual well-endowed handicap races, should make the athletic section specially attractive. The task of compiling and revising the comprehensive programme will be undertaken by the executive next week. , Great improvements have been made to both the cycling and running tracks, which should be in first-class order for Easter.
