Hawke Cup Game Interrupted
HAMILTON, This Day.
Owing to the ground being soft and wet, there was again no play in the Hawke Cup cricket m'atch between Waikato and Hawke’s Bay (challenger). As there was a drying wind there was some prospect of the game being resumed this afternoon, • When stumps were drawn on Saturday, Waikato had scored 110 for five wickets, in response to Hawke’s Bay’s first innings total of 157.
