Cookery Nook COCOANUT BUTTER DROPS (Sent in by Jean Dreaver, Kauri.) Half cup butter. I'cup sugar. 2 eggs. 1 cup milk. * 2 teaspoons baking powder,, 2 cups 'flour. 1 cup desiccated coCoanut. 1 teaspoon vanilla. Cream butter, add sugar, and cream well together. Add eggs slightly beaten, milk and floUr sifted with pinch of salt and baking powder. Mix well and add cocoanut and vanilla. Drop front a teaspoon onto greased trays. Bake in a moderate oven, for 15 minutes. BANANA BUNS (Sent in by Mary Taylor) 2 tablespoons butter, 1 egg. 1 \ cups flour. 3 cup sugar. . ■ j 2 mashed bananas. 1 teaspoon baking powdeh Beat butter and sugar to a cream, add egg. Beat well and add bananas, flour and baking powder. Put on greased slide.
